dont jump into everything if you don’t know the subject..of course isslam will condemn this brutality but I am talking about implementing islam as source of jurisprudential source and to run the state…which another poster wants
ever heard of these pillars of islam: ijma, qayas and ijtihad?
it is not my fault that we muslims stopped doing ijtihad after imam ghazali … hence religion never really progressed with social evolution…
allam asad and some other scholars tried doing that in early part of last century but now we simply have way too many sects to do ijmah, qayas and ijtihad in a meaningful way for a state level jurisprudential purpose …hence capacity of religion is restricted to personal life..
shias by the way still did a better job on this front…but even iran struggling with it.
these are the realities but people will come and make these blanket statements " Yes, we need Caliphs and the companions of the Prophet system"
