Yes, we need more religion…more pepole who take their religion seriously. Those who follow the example of the rightly guided Caliphs and the companions of the Prophet. You will simply see no precedence for this behavior in their conduct. Again, there are no laws on the book to justify what happened. You have religious people here and in Pakistan condemning the attack. Quit your crass opportunism. No one is seriously interested in a secular agenda, and it’s certainly not going to save lives or property in the future.

I had posed the following question to our director

“What is your definition of secularism? Is being secular equivalent to being anti religious. If you agree, why? If not, why not?”

Her response? That I am beginning to creep her out.

My point being - people in this forum willfully lie about secular people being anti religious. This is Exhibit A.

By no means is this post meant to be disrespectful to the position of Director. I hope such posts are an eye opener to those in high office. I hope they recognize the utter nonsense in such a school of thought - that secular people are anti religious.

To use the words o the Director in response to my question “this post creeps me out”.
