MNAs from both the major parties are demanding exemplary punishment for the dictator whose 9 year rule resulted in such a disaster for the country. This man was responsible for providing safe havens to militants in our country to create a problem which could justify his illegal rule. He single handedly destroyed every institution in Pakistan.
Pakistanis today demand to bring this man to justice and make an example out of him. As this guy has run away from the country we should demand his return from where ever he tries to hide…

Ask Altaf Hussain to return to Pakistan
By Muhammad Anis
ISLAMABAD: MNAs belonging to the two major political parties, the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, on Tuesday demanded exemplary punishment for Pervez Musharraf for playing havoc with the Constitution and causing irreparable damage to the country.
One PPP member even demanded capital punishment for Pervez Musharraf for plunging the country into multiple crises. It was private members’ day in the National Assembly and the members raised a volley of points of order, some of which related to the country’s security, including sending of spy satellite into space by India. During the proceedings, the PML-N members also asked MQM Quaid Altaf Hussain to return to the country, drawing strong protest from the MQM parliamentarians. Speaking on a point of order, Jamshed Dasti of the PPP said Pervez Musharraf should be hanged, as he is the root cause of all the crises being faced by the country. “If an innocent and patriotic leader like Zulfikar Ali Bhutto could be hanged to death then why Pervez Musharraf cannot be given capital punishment?” Jamshed Dasti asked.
He said today Pakistan is besieged by many problems and parliament had become a ‘rubber stamp’. “Could our parliament demand capital punishment for a dictator like Pervez Musharraf?” he questioned.
He regretted that Pervez Musharraf is moving freely all around the world from America to Saudi Arabia and there is no one to question him for the crimes he committed against the country.
Chaudhry Birjees Tahir on another point of order appreciated the sentiments of his colleague from the PPP, saying a dictator, who breached the country’s Constitution, has been spared punishment.
The PML-N parliamentarian regretted that on private members’ day when many points of order relating to the country’s internal and external security were raised no concerned minister was present in the house. He requested the senior cabinet members to attend the session, as presence of junior minister such as Minister of State for Defence Production Sardar Saleem Haider and Minister of State for Interior Tasnim Qureshi does not serve the purpose.
Palwasha Behram of the PPP expressed concern over the launch of spy satellite into space by India, saying the project is aimed at keeping an eye on Pakistan’s strategic assets. Palwasha termed it an attempt to establish India’s hegemony in the region.
She said defence and foreign ministers should inform the house whether the authorities concerned of the country had any plan to counter India’s space programme. On this, the minister of state for defence production said the house would be briefed on the issue after taking briefing from the ministry of foreign affairs and other authorities concerned.
Haji Parvez Khan of the PML-N made the MQM parliamentarians rise on their seats in protest when he asked Altaf Hussain to return to the country instead of doing politics and giving statements against Pakistan from abroad.
He regretted that the MQM Quaid is giving statements against Pakistan and the Nizam-e-Adl from outside the country, saying he should come to the country to lead his party. His remarks drew strong protest from the MQM MNAs. Haider Abbas Rizvi of the MQM said Haji Parvez Khan’s remarks are against parliamentary ethics. He requested the speaker to issue warning to the N-League member.
Later, Haider Rizvi went to senior PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal and conveyed his protest to him. Speaking on another point of order, Khurram Dastgir condemned the killing of deputy speaker of the Northern Areas Council, saying the leaders of all sects should be given protection.
