hey that's cool...my friend in middle school was half Spanish and half Pakistani. Her parents met in Barcelona, then moved to Canada. The whole family used to speak in Spanish, even the dad. The only sort of drawback I remember is that her mom changed her name to 'Aisha' and her family had a lot of Catholic traditions which she could not participate in. Even though it's good she became Muslim, I felt a lil sad for her because her marriage made her more isolated from her family.
