Don’t really know what you mean…In my family’s case my Ammi was born in India the year of partition, my naniyal moved to Khi 2 years later so she was raised in Pakistan. There are a lot of Hydrabadi families like that. But my Indian relatives don’t identify themselves as Pakistani so I’m afraid I don’t have an answer for you
