OMG simply must have used an artistic effect built in with photoshop or some other phot editing software and applied it to the original photograph.

Well well well I dont use PhotoShop at all. I paint in Painter 9. Thanks for posting the reference image so people can compare how realistic I work. Here goes the work in progress. I have saved it for poeple like you.

What do you mean by this? Yes, I can paint so realistic when I am in mood. But I like to paint loose sometimes also.

It is totally painted on blank background as you see in the two progresses. Well, i am an professional artist so if you don’t believe me, its not my headache at all. I even don’t care whatever you say.
