I made gulab jamun and they come out perfect, so i did it again and heaven knows why, (cause i did the same way as before) but they came out so hard 
, anyway so i gave up making them, you end up using so much sugar for the syrup, it just seems a waste when theres only me and hubs to cater for!! stick to the mitai shop

clothsmad, I normally freeze the sheera and use it for next time as well 
… never goes to waste ..Try it …
Horizon, I have tried making boondi ladoo , gulab jamuns and jalebi at home .. and laddo’s were a disaster most of the time..
just once, they came out perfect
Jalebi, was so -so .. but Jamuns always come out nice and yummy

i tried jalebi once and was not good.now no more trying fo rmethais as i am on dieting.
