No more illegal detentions: SC | Saach TV

Islamabad: **The Supreme Court of Pakistan has directed the agencies not to detain anyone illegally.

****Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry during today’s hearing on illegal detentions said that FIR should be filed before any arrest.
**
The court has asked the attorney general to inform all the agencies concerned regarding the court order. While hearing the case of Umar Mehmood picked up by an agency, the court observed no one should be held illegally.

**Earlier, Islamabad IG informed the court that Umar Mehmood, who used to bring meals for the persons detained by agencies, was picked up by the agency.
**
**The court also asked Umar Mehmood about the charges against him, to which he responded by saying he had no idea about it. He said he kept on asking the agency officials about charges but nothing was told. The court ordered the IG to submit report in Umar Mehmood case within two weeks.
**
On March 16th, Advocate Tariq Asad submitted a civil miscellaneous application during missing prisoners case, complaining that on March 10, one Umer Muhammad Wali Khan, who was voluntarily providing food to the relatives of the detainees was picked up and his whereabouts were then unknown.

Lol supreme court judges Aasmaan say utray hain? You want them to do things the government should be doing.

Peoples party is not doing us a favour if they can't govern the country.
