We know that some people have been arrested and they are missing, mostly they are thought to be pashtuns and balochs but now according to Amna masood janjua the list of missing people is increasing in Punjab. Whats shahbaz sharif doing or has he also surrendered his authority to the agencies?
Re: Missing people
He is doing these difficult tasks:
(1)
(2)
Remaining easy tasks are performed by agencies.
Re: Missing people
I have a link,
I don’t know that it is true or not but I daily watch many reports on many sites. I daily see the reports of missing persons and some dead bodies found on these sites.
If this is a false propaganda , Some one should be on duty to check these reports and tell the truth,
It is very dangerous.
News : Pakistani Coast Guard brutally killed the mentally disabled Baloch for carrying toy pistol
(But our people are busy in finding a Mr Clean from Lahore)
Re: Missing people
I read that report in tribune.com.pk and according to it now the maximum people missing are from punjab
Re: Missing people
^ Who are these people? If they are Taliban then I would have thought them to be mostly Pashtun. If they are more from Punjab now then I would think they are not Taliban?!

Re: Missing people
If "missing persons" is not related to Taliban and extremism then what is it for?
You let me know. That's why I asked the question above. I am curious.

The people belonging to Taliban are counted as enemy and it is now a war so they are dealt some other way.
These are missing persons due to many reasons.
You can count them like Saleem Shezad but he was found soon. There are some religious elements also among them but tey can not be counted as Taliban, A number of our Balochs is also in the list.
Re: Missing people
Missing Persons, why the persons were abducted to start with? Persons like Husband of Amna Janjowa? I heard many of these missing persons were either have links or involved in the recent bombings in Punjab... don't know what is true...
Re: Missing people
The fact that the government has done nothing to solve this issue is a blight on the country. When our own people can't be protected from the government or its military one should really consider if this government is infact doing its job.
Re: Missing people
Maybe they are related to taleban, but we need to keep this in mind that the whole shura of taleban is still alive and kicking…why dont they get missing?

**LAHORE: **Punjab has the highest number of missing people. As many as 222 cases were reported in the last two years, Amina Masood Janjua, the Defence of Human Rights chairperson, said on Friday.
She was speaking at a press conference at the Lahore Press Club where she said more cases of missing people were being reported nowthan under the previous regime.
She said that the families of the missing people were ready to leave the country if their loved ones were returned to them.
She said that people have been mysteriously disappearing from all parts of the country because they ‘followed the teachings of Islam’. She said that abductions of businessmen, students, engineers and doctors did not make any sense.
Janjua said that the government was facilitating America by abducting its own citizens and handing them over to the US. “The government is not unaware. They are willingly backing it,” she said.
She regretted that the commission formed by the Supreme Court of Pakistan had yielded no results so far. She suggested that the government set up five commissions, one for each province. She appealed to the prime minister and president to take personal interest in the matter.

Re: Missing people
Lets face it, Shahbaz Sharif will not do anything about missing people. Rather none of the political parties will do anything about any security situation in Pakistan, be it missing people, Taleban issue, MQM terrorists, Balochistan issue. When it comes to these issues they are silent spectators and are happy to let the army deal with the issues. And then they complain army has too much power.
