I’m beginning to suspect the same. Either this confusion is due to criminal level of professional incompetence or the Malaysian authorities are not doing a good job at coming up with a credible cover story. A friend of mine thinks it could be case of accidental shooting of the plane by Malaysian authorities hence the very bad cover up. It might sound like farfetched theory but at this point, the possibility the Malaysian government is hiding more than what they are revealing should not be overlooked.

It could be that plane was indeed hijacked and all passengers are alive on some remote Island outside the search zone, but with ths theory, if the terrorists turned off the ransponder and changed the route of flying, the pilots would’ve had enough time to press the emergency button before allowing anyone enter the cockpit. Or maybe the cockpit door wasn’t locked.

Well we do know for a fact that one of the pilots has let in passengers into the cockpit for the whole journey on a previous occasion. What if this was used against them in some way. Or it may even be true that the plane was shot down by one of the nearby countries and they don’t want to tell anyone because it may cause problems.
