Re: Malaysian Airline crashes in south China Sea
from what i have been reading, apparently stolen passports are common in certain asian countries. could be that they were criminals trying to escape or a case of illegal immigration. the iranian guy who got them the tickets could have been the illegal immigration agent who sends ppl abroad on fake documents. with the security these days, hows it possible for anyone to take explosives on the plane?

KUALA LUMPUR - Malaysia’s military believes a jetliner missing for almost four days turned and flew hundreds of kilometres to the west after it last made contact…
^ they denied it

What's up did social networking sites showing the users as online?
Re: Malaysian Airline crashes in south China Sea
I think the officials are clearly hiding something and don't want it known to the world yet. I really hope we find out what really happened and that way the families will get closure. I somewhere still hope that they are alive and that the plane was hijacked. I'd rather it be this than a crash where everyone has died. :(
Re: Malaysian Airline crashes in south China Sea
I’m beginning to suspect the same. Either this confusion is due to criminal level of professional incompetence or the Malaysian authorities are not doing a good job at coming up with a credible cover story. A friend of mine thinks it could be case of accidental shooting of the plane by Malaysian authorities hence the very bad cover up. It might sound like farfetched theory but at this point, the possibility the Malaysian government is hiding more than what they are revealing should not be overlooked.
It could be that plane was indeed hijacked and all passengers are alive on some remote Island outside the search zone, but with ths theory, if the terrorists turned off the ransponder and changed the route of flying, the pilots would've had enough time to press the emergency button before allowing anyone enter the cockpit. Or maybe the cockpit door wasn't locked.
Re: Malaysian Airline crashes in south China Sea
There are more theories than facts. Everyday there's something new which officials deny the next day. It's hard to believe anything that is circulating over the internet. In all this confusion people have totally forgotten the people who lost their loved ones and are still waiting for any type of closure.
This reminds me of the witch hunt during Boston Marathon bombing. This time every random person has his own theory.

Well we do know for a fact that one of the pilots has let in passengers into the cockpit for the whole journey on a previous occasion. What if this was used against them in some way. Or it may even be true that the plane was shot down by one of the nearby countries and they don't want to tell anyone because it may cause problems.
Re: Malaysian Airline crashes in south China Sea
Most likely, there was a sudden loss of pressure which resulted in everyone quickly passing out/dying from lack of oxygen.
The pilot might have made a last effort to turn the plan around before passing out. The plan probably continued hundreds of miles before crashing into the ocean.
This scenario has happened before: Helios Airways Flight 522 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
^ Sudden lost of pressure doesn't explain transponder and other communication failure
Re: Malaysian Airline crashes in south China Sea
^^^True,
It must have had to be a catastrophic multiple system failure or something man made like a small bomb or bullet (if someone got access to the cockpit and there are already pictures of the pilots with passengers inside the cockpit).
Another scenario could be pilot suicide..
Too many scenarios which can only be answered by the black box.

Is that the plane? A person seems to have found the underwater wreckage of a plane:

Re: Malaysian Airline crashes in south China Sea
Yes if nearly everyone passed out then the plane may still have been in autopilot mode and would have gone much more nearer to the destination.
But after watching this documentary, I think something very similar may have happened.
