**A baby who was found abandoned in a cathedral in the Irish Republic is believed to be from Nottinghamshire.**The seven-month old boy was reported missing on Thursday.
Irish police say he was discovered safe and well at the Cathedral of the Assumption in Carlow Town on Friday afternoon.
A note with the baby’s name on it was found attached to his buggy. Police are now working to find the child’s parents.
