Yes Sidra played daughter of Arshad Mehmood in Dastak. Dastak was probably the first play which introduced Shazia Akhtar, Yasir Akhtar, Saleem Shaikh.
Humera Zaheer was in ‘Parsa’ and then in ‘Yahan Pyar nahin hai’. Humera’s husband M Zaheer Khan was a directir who produced classics like ‘Afshan’, ‘Kohar’, etc. One of their daughter also acted in ‘Wohi Aasman’.

Rubi Niazi. She got fame from Asghar Nadeem Syed's 'Chand Girhan' and then did some movies with Omar Sharif. She left acting after marriage, but has come back recently and acted in 'Yeh Zindagi hai', 'Mushkbar', Hawa Rait aur Aangan.

Also Sidra Khan from Kelash...she has acted with Omar Sharif as well in movies. She was from a poor family and entered showbiz just so her sisters could study and have a noble life. Mustansar Hussain Tarar talks about her in his book "Kelash".

lols. She played Mirza Zaheer u din Babar’s sister Khanzada begum in Qasim Jalali’s Babar. Was also in Nusrat Thakur’s ‘Duniya’.
In Duniya, Roop played the lead role. she did some movies and then disappeared.

fashion designer shaiyanne mailk, she was also in kelash (played role of ali afzal's first/second wife). Then saw her in drama masuri in 2005.

Okay I don’t think Sharmila Farooqi was in Kashkol…but I definitely remember the scene with spots on her face. Can’t think which drama she acted in?

Aini Zaidi, who played Bela in Kazim Pasha’s Chaon disappeared and after a long time appeared in Nusrat Thakur’s ‘Tawaan’ in 2000-2001. Don’t remember her other projects.
Its interesting that actress in Chaon (telecasted during Zia regime) are without dupattas and Nawaz Sharif even asked actresses in kitchen scenes to have duapttas. lols
There was this girl ‘Roohi Jamil’ in Chaon, who also played a role in Kazim Pasha’s ‘Raat, Rait aur Hawa’ story of immigrants during Gulf war. She was also in Noor ul Huda Shah’s ‘Fasle’ alongwith Marhoom Riaz. Her sister Rukhsana Jamil was in ‘Dhuwan’ and ‘Sannata’.

I think PTV Peshawer just disappeared from the scene. Don't remember any of drama produced by them in recent years. Either the actors migrated to Karachi / Lahore (Rasheed Naaz / Nargis Rashid) or they just disappeared. Batin Farooqi who was in Norrena, Gul e Lala and many other productions is also out of media nowadays.

I think PTV Peshawer just disappeared from the scene. Don't remember any of drama produced by them in recent years. Either the actors migrated to Karachi / Lahore (Rasheed Naaz / Nargis Rashid) or they just disappeared. Batin Farooqi who was in Norrena, Gul e Lala and many other productions is also out of media nowadays.
yes peshawar / quetta centers have finished / stopped making dramas, lahore/karachi/islamabad centers are also diminishing. Many of peshawar and quetta actors now working in their respective regional private channels.

Ajab Gul is now a busy director of Pashto movies. He sometimes acts in those movies and dances on ajab ajab qism ke songs

Quetta Cnetre is mostly producing dramas on war on terror theme. Shela Bagh, Amn, Mitti, etc... but atleast they are doing something. PTV really needs to work on its marketing department. Many good projects (Samjhota Express, Kalmohi, etc) went unnoticed in the crowd of garbage produced by private channels with same writers writing on same themes for a decade.

Where is Anwer Sajjad (actor cum writer)? He was king maker (Malik Riaz type) in Zard Dopehar. I think, last he wrote ‘Abhi Waqt hai’ for Ayyub Khawar and dramatised Riffat Siraj’s novel ‘Shehr e YaraaN’ as Tawaan. I remember there were promos of his new serial airing from PTV, couldn’t watch that serial.
