not all schools of thought believe that. what is past is forgiven…if u ask for forgiveness. Allah forgives all sins. if it should be made up, then it wouldve said so in a hadith…the prophet would have definately mentioned it.

if u had to make it up …the asking for forgiveness becomes pointless.

past is forgiven for whatever u do wrong.. but missed out prayers is one thing that can be prayed later there is a reason why “Qadhaa Salah” is mentioned in sunnah?
