A sick person is not excused from prayers! Namaz cannot be excused under any uncircumstances. You have to make up for the missed ones.

Ok lets say a person missed prayers due to an illness, but is now better. Well, assuming that the person missed months of prayers - but is in excellent health now - does he/she have to catch up on them. I know that a person who is ill is excused from the prayers - but Im not quite sure what the case is if the person is able to make up for the missed salahs.
