This show was organised in canada and only involved gals brought up in america or canada who have some link as a background to pakistan like either father is pakistani or mother or grand parents.Till last yeat it was called as MISS CANADA PAKISTAN but now they have changed that to MISS WORLD PAKISTAN,just bcz what i believe bcz gradually they want that to go to Pakistan even so they are doing in step wise pattern.
MAY ALLAH SAVE PAKISTANI WOMEN from such kind of pathetic people.:naraz:

Surprisingly enough, a lot of the contestants and even some past winners are girls who moved here from Pakistan.

well I read in Toronto Urdu newspaper a while back that all this Canada Pakistani pagent show was huge setup to make Pakistan look bad. It turned out that most of the girls who participated were all Indians. They did not disclose their identity and the whole organization was Indians desparate to be famous. I don't know how much is truth to it, but whole pandora box was opened when some people here investigated it and it all came out in Urdu newspaper.

lol, I remember hearing about that JP. I don’t think it’s some big Indian conspiracy. People are just making excuses cause they find this pageant embarrasing.

I’ve met some of the girls who have taken part in past Miss Canada Pakistan pageants. I really don’t have any comment. All I know is that I find beauty pageants in general offensive, although I do occassionally watch the Sunsilk Pageant on PTV. :cb:

Canadian Pakistanis always amuse me, i don't find it shocking though. i like to refer to President Mushi's term"Enlightened Moderation". I hope few "Paki Canadians" will move to Pakistan (soon), and at least Pakistanis will have few shows like These for Free:D
