Miss Universe ! .. Bostwana ..hain??

Now dunn get me wrong here … but i never thought that she’d even make it to the round of 16 .. but wat can we say … it’s not that she was too bad… i dont think the competition was steep enuff! .. our lahori gals could have so easily fit the category against her anyday

MR

I missed the Miss Universe contest. Damn.

According to newspapers, she got it because she answered brilliantly to the questions of examiners, whatever it means. So the clue to miss universe is (apart from 36-24-26 figure) is that u have to give most stupid possible answers to most stupid questions. For example, if ur Lahori friend enters, she will be asked 'what will u do if u become primeminister of pakistan.' now she has to answer 'first thing i will do is to remove poverty.' or something equally idiotic.

I did not see the show. Saw the photograph. An African. Well... u see, we all can easily appreciate 'gora' looks since we are brought up that way. But with anyone else we have to spend some time to like their features. For example, initially I never found a Chinese or African girl beautiful Now I do find some of them beautiful.

Agreed ... the wonderful answer that she gave was sure to impress the judges when the Spanish girl dint know a single English word and the phillipino had just tripped over her feet :)

I thought Miss Bostwana was lovely and I was hoping that she'd win cuz out of all of them she was the one with the brilliant answers. Miss India wasnt bad but she lost cuz of the swim suit competition. I personally think the swimsuit competition should be eliminated.
Maharaja,
If you look at it closely enough everyone is beautiful in their own specific way.

ZZ,
I dont think the questions very stupid, and Maha Raj's lahori friend I am sure will give equally brilliant answers.

Well i personally believe that the swim suit round draws the line between the participants before the Q&A thingy begins.

Its about beauty and brains .. so ne1 with a lil brain can be miss universe these days ..wow .... well my lahori friend has already decided to participate in the next year's peagent :)
