This reminds of this physics teacher in St. Patricks High School in matric back in the day (does anyone remember his name? cheegum?). He used to walk between the rows of desks while lecturing and lightly tap the back of boys' head as he passed. Once I got really annoyed and as he was about to tap my head i stood up and asked him not to do that to me again. He was pissed, and didn't talk to me the rest of the year and never tapped me. But during the practicals in the final exam I got one which I wasn't prepared for (the vernier caliper one) he went and changed the exam for me. :)

Yaar i was a bit angrez so i was in the cambridge section (not matric) so my physics prof was a sri lankan tamil guy by the name of Mr Lokanathan. Aur maar to door ki baat, he was the only prof in the whole school that i was actually friends with.
