No, because:

1. I do not like to be in the centre of attention.
2. Definitely not the kind of attention where they judge you for your body and looks.
3. No matter what they say, in the end you are just judged like a piece of meat.
4. What is the purpose/value of these misses? They want to help the poor and bring world peace etc. Very nice and stuff.
   But they are sponsered and then become an ambassador/the face for a charity. Good for them, but everything is taken care of by the agencies and the sponsors. So yes, what is their purpose?

Respect to you for your modesty. But one thing I disagree with - they don’t get sponsors by default, they actually have to go find them themselves through their own hard work. The agency doesn’t do anything at all. Traditionally, this may be true with other pageants, but I have it on good authority that the Miss Pakistan agency doesn’t pay a single penny for anything. So when it comes to helping deter stereotypes, build charities and other acts of good faith, it falls completely on the pageant herself.

From an Islamic perspective, I disagree with the whole idea completely, however, I’ve seen some good things come out of it as well (although not encouraging it).
