Miss Pakistan-World!

What are your thoughts on it?.

I for one am against any such participation by our people for the kind of body exposure it demands. If it was based on personality, intelligence or even beauty it would have been ok but the whole body exposure and the drama is too much. Also, this year’s miss pak world is definately not worthy of representing Pakistan for many reasons such as lack of beauty, lack of culture in her, or lack of personality. And adding on that her indescent comments about Musharaff probably to gain some publicity and/or to earn some hard cash by providing him some services :halo:.

I don’t know why there is no response on this from the govt?!?. I was so pissed today after watching 15 mins of her on tv because of her grace to properly answer the questions that were thrown at her. She is going to katofy our naaks in those pageats :frowning: lol!

I am actually quite serious about this and want to know what do all of you Pakistanis think about this?. I really need to know your honest views before doing what i plan to do that is write a letter to Nawaz shariff taking his attention to this event. But before i do that i need to know all of yours views too.

Re: Miss Pakistan-World!

Really dont c how its a big deal, so many pakistani girls dress and expose their bodies like that all the time, nothing new, just this time they r doing so in a pageant

Re: Miss Pakistan-World!

When you represent in a pageant like miss world or so that means you are being sent there as the true representation of what Pakistan is about. And in this case pakistani is definately not about all that cheap stuff. Also, what pakistani girls wear is ofcourse controlled though things have changed somewhat now but you still wont be seeing them walking around in biknis or coming on tv and sharing their fantasies with the world!?!.

Re: Miss Pakistan-World!

No doubt her comments about Mushrraf were for the sake of publicity. Maybe they're looking for greater support for the peagent from Mushy's govt. through this publicity stunt. Although, I agree her comments were disgraceful but the peagent itself must take place. I do support the peagent.

Re: Miss Pakistan-World!

^ ok. But may i ask why should the pageant be supported?.

Re: Miss Pakistan-World!

^ Definitely. At a larger level with much competent contestants. But the people behind this publicity stunt... must use decent tactics to promote the event. What they did was just sick!

Re: Miss Pakistan-World!

who the heck “selected” her? :smack: If she really wants to reveal herself someone connect her to bollywood please :halo:

BTW, all the “pageants” shown on that website make me think that its a fake competition, no one seems pretty enough as “selected in competition”.

Re: Miss Pakistan-World!

write to ganja lol.
you probably dnt need to cause hes obviously gona to remove such stuff to bring back his old days of humayun gujjar and lahore badmashi culture

Re: Miss Pakistan-World!

excuse me? what exactly do you mean? do you want a pakistan where girls are roaming around in biknis?.

Re: Miss Pakistan-World!

She doesn't even deserve it..I've seen way prettier girls walking the streets of Lahore/karachi!

Re: Miss Pakistan-World!

Re: Miss Pakistan-World!

what is your problem

Re: Miss Pakistan-World!

Can we ask wht is YOUR problem

Re: Miss Pakistan-World!

Actually i saw some clips of 2006 event and found them refreshing.

my observations / opinion on that event :chai:

I am not sure which event you are talking about. I know that there is certain prejudice against these type of event due to religious / cultural reasons. Also there is need of proper representation of pakistani women at international level.

Re: Miss Pakistan-World!

my problem is no problem:)

Re: Miss Pakistan-World!

Good :vivo:

Re: Miss Pakistan-World!

Flashing skin , private parts etc in public is considered to be a disease. It is considered a perversion in every society, recent controversy around Hanna Montana ( Miley Cyrus) showing her skin in Vanity Fair magazine proves it.

If it is a disease and perversion then anybody can have it , why do you think Pakistan will be an exception to it ?
What should we do about it , nothing. Pakistani society already has a code of conduct so nothing like this happens there . If someone outside the Pakistan organizes a Miss Pakistan-World contest you have no control over it.

Re: Miss Pakistan-World!

Btw she is ''Miss Disco'' too :D
