misplacements of judgment

why could be the cause of this thinking?

when sitting on the firm truthful beach could have been content and enough, one went ahead and drowned delibrately in doubts?
& when one could take the boat of confidence and trust, then one ended up taking a water-raft of deceit, instead, over the ocean of care, which is not and was not shallow at all?

in abstract thinking, share your thoughts on if you like.

Best,

Re: misplacements of judgment

Peace again Sister

Thinking was one: "Is the sand softer on the other side of the ocean?" One said: "This firm beach is a pain in the b**t, I want a soft beach that will make me happy"

One said: "I want to go now, I don't want to wait for the boatman to arrive, here look at this raft ... good now I can leave in haste!"

One said: "This water may be deep, but appears shallow enough, no matter I have my trusty raft"

The heart outweighed the mind and the whispers made the other side seem better, decision to leave took away focus from evaluation and patience, and then caution was side-lined by complacency and pretense.

Our purpose in this life is to take the challenge and be geared up for hard work. The easy option or the one where we see gratification immediate as our ideal paths will ruin us. A rule of thumb if it is difficult then it must be good. That is sort of bad logic ... People in the materialistic world create luxuries to improve their lifestyle, not to disrupt them. But luxuries make us careless and dependent, lazy and arrogant. So the hard path is the best path? That defies logic indeed it is like a deception ...

Behold! God says in His Book ... "Surely, We Created this World as a deception"

May be the reason why the above took place is because people are not warned about the deceptive world enough.

Re: misplacements of judgment

brother psyah, amazing reflection on the crux of the life-issue and the cross roads of faithfulness vs. world's deception.

Re: misplacements of judgment

Could it be that the lack of transparency of ocean deceived one in thinking the ocean to be too shallow.

What could have been is just that, could have been. What appears to be a truthful beach to one, may have been a temporary resting spot for the other en passant.
