Viv Richards, Imran Khan, Steve Waugh are some of the players that could be described as arrogant.
Their arrogance is overlooked or justified because they performed to their potential more often than not.
Sir Viv could hit any bowler out of sight; Imran could bowl any batsmen and Steve Waugh can call a bowling line-up as being crap and go on to make a double century as a justification for his comments.
However, there are certain players with hardly any talent going around with a swagger of Sir Viv, the lordly manner of Imran and making cutting remarks of Steve Waugh.
If only Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka had a pool of talented players to choose from, then the players will think twice before showing their misplaced arrogance.
