Majority of the popular hollywood hottie men are not exactly short, but not exactly tall.
I myself at 5.6 would almost be taller than Mel Gibson or Tom Cruise, especially wearing heels. I'd be taller than Dustin Hoffman and tower over Michael J. Fox.
BoSS, the-taller-than-me women have been telling me that "shorter guys have a better reach". I don't know what that means but as long as a woman says that with a smile on her face, I'd take that as a compliment.
I have a friend whose husband is 2" shorter than her.I find a bit odd cuz its not a routine to see taller ladies with shorter guys.I prefer it vice versa.one can not term it a mismatched couple lekin phir bhi it seems quite fine if a man is taller than his wife.Personality and attiutudes are next into the list.
BoSS compatibility is very important in marriage, in your friends case he doesnt think they are compatible in the 'height' department. If he's not happy about somthing as 'height' now, and the girl is, theyre not compatible in the way they think.. Good for em they dint end up together!

Living in a society or a social environment that does look into these little things & eventually affects the couple’s relationship than it is a problem. But if the couple (not only the man or the woman, but both) is emotionally strong enough to get over it than IMO, there are other things that are far more important when choosing a spouse than being of the adequate height.
My cousin is 5"2 and her husband s 5"0 when i saw them first time i was laughing. But after a while you get use too of it. Poor guy was wearing 2 inch heels on his shadi and cameraman stopped his camera on his shoes for few seconds.

By Jhatka do you mean Pakistani guys who are taller than 6'2".
A freind, after his extensive research on the subject, once told me that the ideal height (difference) for the couple is that after full insertion during intercourse, the man should only bend his neck to suck on the ear lobe of the women. If he has to bend his back or has to pull out to take the earlobe in his mouth then the height difference is not sexually compatible.

Why the heck are all the tall Pakistani guys in the States?
I know of many desi guys who are shorter than their wives. In fact, one guy in particular is 5'6", and he had set a limit too for his wife when the search was ON. She HAD to be taller than him!
Now that is insane too, in my opinion.
You cant disregard someone just for their height.
But we all have our quirks.
My wife was adamant that she would not marry a guy younger than her.....and when she found out we were both born in the same month of the same year..she freaked out.
She was so scared that I might be younger and she'd have to call it all off.
Relax....I'm 5 DAYS older than her....so she's happy.
It would not have bothered me in the slightest if I had been the younger one.
