Today we have only one country in the world which can be called Islamic. That is Saudi Arabia. Only they have some respects for quranic laws. We can easily explore how much they are tolrant towards other religions.
Prior to Islam sweeping whole Saudi Arabia, it was home to idolators, christians, and jews. All of them used to practise their religion there. Now it is impossible to find out any trace of any other religion except Islam in that country which gave birth to Islam. It itself speaks volumes about how tolrant first generation of Muslims had been towards another religions.
In India itself, more than 3000 temples had been demolished by muslims. And I dont blame them either. As pious muslims they were obiliged to demolish any place of worship which is not Islamic.
However forcible conversion is a topic which can only be debated and not proved, so I will prefer to leave it.

Not only pagan and idolators,but jews and christians are hard to be found in Saudi Arabia (As its citizens). Perhaps U dont know that 100% population of Saudi Arabia is muslim. No minority there.
I agree with U 100%. We dont need mandirs. Neither do we need masjids or any church or any place of worshsip. These places of worships have contributed nothing but hatred and division among humans to humankind. As for ur understanding why they demolished temples,its very easy to understand. They demolished temples because they were offcourse pious and true muslims and as a true muslim U have to demolish any place of worship where shirk is being done.

Regardless of gender, any muslim is held equally accountable for a sin, same amount of gunnah and same amount of sawab.

I think you should put forward your points as this forum should be catering to reply you. You must have some miscomception about Islam and social conflicts.
Islam means PEACE then how could such faith cater for extremism. Put forward your points and we will try to answer them.
Another generally heard misconception (in my view) is that Islam is intolerant towards other faiths.
I do not believe that to be correct. Islam and muslims are often seen as putting emphasis on the worship of God Alone with no partners, and sometimes that turns into a wider conflict because other faiths have different definitions of God and how He, Almighty, can be worshipped. It just maybe that others take offense at the fact that Muslims are able to call out the wrong because Islam recognizes all prophets including Moses/Musa (a.s.) and Jesus/Isa (a.s.) while others do not accept Muhammad (s.a.w.) to be a prophet. Muslims ARE infact in a position to correct others when it comes to monotheistic faiths (specifically) because it is a direct association of other prophets with something which they did not preach or claim for themselves and has been attributed to them later by their disciples.
It's just a matter of misunderstanding the message, not that of intolerance. Every faith has a few who take it to the next level that is beyond the religion itself, and their actions should not under any circumstances be used to label an entire religion because religion in itself is sufficient, and does not need people to redefine it. It is rather the followers of the faith who have to be educated so they're understanding of what their faith requires, so they then can convey the correct message to others and shatter any misconceptions.
The word Islam means Submission to One God. Period.! Its essence is peace and tranquility, and governance of the law of God alone because He is the creator of all that exists, known and unknown, and therefore the only One worthy of worship. Acknowledging this fact coupled with Muhammad (s.a.w) is his last and final messenger, makes one muslim. The rest is just following the faith how it is meant to be followed.
Many of these are NOT misconceptions. For example:
1) Are muslims violent/terrorists/extremists? - contemporary statistics clearly shows that a predominant portion of people and organizations considered violent extremists & terrorists are muslims. While this does not make all muslims violent terrorists, the majority of non-extremist muslims do allow these extremist muslims to quote and preach islam and in some cases provide funds too.
2) Islam oppresses wome? - while all religions and societies had and have unequal gender laws, Islam has the worst of the lot when it comes to institutionally discriminating against women - in terms of laws of evidence, in terms of polygamy and in terms of dress code.
3) Muslims worship a different God? - if there is no difference as you claim, can you explain why muslims want jews eradicated?
4) Spread by sword and intolerant of other faiths - history has evidenced that invasions brought islam to most people.
s1. You're basing that on the "widely accepted fashion" stereotype. There have been many terrible humans who were NOT muslims. So what name should we have for them? We must sift through the filth and present the truth as it is. Terrorism is not a religious monopoly, rather a human illness that many suffer from and as a result make others suffer with it. Period! You can fancy it up, and find a million ways to rephrase it but it just boils down to the very simple factor that it is Humans who commit acts of evil. So each individual is accountable for his/her own affair.
Islam does not oppress women. Islam elevates women to their rightful status in both home and outside, and gives them due rights. Just because Islam's right for women do not happen to be the same as the Western nations, does not at all mean women are subjugated in Islam. Where there are acts of suppression, it is due to the lack of education and unislamic mentality. Not Islam.
It was Islam that abrogated the burying of young daughters alive in the "dark ages". Some religions still practice the inhumane practice of burning women as a matter of honor. Islam allows no such thing. History has shown that while Europe lay wasted in dark ages, it was Islam that was the progressive force of the time and it is Muslims who contributed to scholarly center of Baghdad, Damascus, and Spain that attracted students from all over the world. Arabia was the hub of trade going westward, and Spain became the educational center for Christians who were oppressed by the tyrannical rule of Church which would prohibit the study of science. Millions have turned to Islam and continue to turn to Islam as the sole source of truth even today, so what siege is making them convert under threat? Which army invaded far corners of Russia and Indonesia and made them muslim? If Islam was spread by the sword and entire populations were made muslim at the point of a sword, there would be no non-muslims left wherever Islam spread. The bitter truth for many who spread such bias and lies is that many non-muslims have always been present even while Islam spread all around them. India is a prime example where Hinduism is a major religion, as well as Spain and part of Middle East (Hub of Islam?), yet there are christians whose ancestors were christians and have not converted to Islam. Muslims have been subject to torture, violence, and slaughter alongside other innocent believers of Christianity and Judaism at the hands of crusaders.
Please learn your history and facts from an actual source before riding on anti-Islam statements often found on the internet and biased media. There's a whole new world out there that is full of truth, please seek it and learn the truth.

Completely agree, but then if you take a survey across the world, you will see that you have the maximum number of terrorists belong to a particular community. Why.. the reasons maybe manifold but then it helps in reinforcing the "Widely accepted fashion" stereotype.

Do you seriously believe what you write. Do you seriously believe that a person having four wives would be able to do justice to these 4 women. There might be strict conditions laid out, but seriously do you see any person who has four wives abiding to these conditions. Dont even get me started on the witnesses front.. Also why not give women the freedom to decided what they want to wear. Why no burquas for men..

very good point d-tox..ed. There are always bad apples even amongst the best of the apples. Islam is now the final deen of Allah, lets focus on our weaknesses and work on them , rather than pointing eachother fingers, because Allah will not be asking how many people have you raised your fingers at, but rather, how many people's sin have you kept as secret, for the sake of Allah's pleasure. May Allah grant us all the ability to love all that Allah would want us to love, and put hatred in our hearts for all that Allah has hatred for.
