Assalamolikum

I am posting this post because i was reading one theard ( who are wahabis ? )
you can say that it is reply of that post because it is already locked so i cannot post there. ok Wahabis are not some extremist or some historic ppl who are still following their ancestor belives for those ppl who think they are very extremist or historic ppl you all should know they are muslim if people say some muslim should change with new world and get some softness in his beleif just because it is too much extremme its mean he is not following islam in proper way wahabis are the people who are still beliving and following in which condition tell them to belive some say wahabis don,t belive on Hazara Muhammed (SAW) those who think that they are so not right because if wahabis do that then its mean there ( first Kalma ) should be changed ( LA ilaha illala Muhammedar RusuAllah ) which Allah is the one and Hazrat Muhammed ( SAW) is the messenger of ALlah then why people even think that wahabis dont belive in Hazarat Muhammed ( SAW) those who think that they are so not right because if wahabis do that then its mean there ( first Kalma ) should be changed ( LA ilaha illala Muhammedar RusuAllah ) which Allah is the one and Hazrat Muhammed ( SAW) is the messenger of ALlah then why people even think that wahabis dont belive in Hazarat Muhammed ( SAW) there is so much misconception about wahabis, people should think before they say anything about islam, if following the islam in that way which was shown us by the last messenger of ALlah Hazara Muhammed (SAW) is wrong and extremme then sorry to say you guys are not following islam in right way and for asnwer to those who think wahabis are terroist..i have no clue where u came up wid tht…wahabis are plain simple those who beleive in God and Prophet (SAW)…they dont go here and there listening to anyother ppl…wahabis jsut follow hadhit and quran…thye dont go on dargas..or any of those things which sunni ppl esp in pakistans are doing so i dont knwo if u r trying to say anyone how follows quran word to word is a terriost? and one more yes Wahabi do say tht we should only ask help from God…y because Prophet was a messenger…he was a human…he cant reply to ur dua’s or listen to them…yes we do agree tht on the day of judgemnt he will request God for mercy but till tht day he cant…yes we do say tht when doing a dua u should ask directly from God y cus God is closer to u..he lives in ur hreat…and God himself said if u ask anythign from me wid ture heart i will listen to u..then y not tlk to him directly??? We respect Prophet…he was our messenger…but then certainly God is greater than him…and we shoudl always sk help from god instead of asking him through the means of soem ones else..he is everyone’s God he listen to everyone…so thts wut God always told us to do and thts wuts rite secondly Wahabi dont beleive tht prophet is alive yes…y cus he was a human…he wasnt an angel or any other maqkol…God mde him human so human being cant say tht he was an angel so thts y he was so perfect…no he was a human..he wasnt angel…he died he doesnt knwo ilam-e-gayab either…he is not persent everywhere

So most of Arabia, is of that thinking that you describe. By your description also, the wahabi is a righteous man and is following the deen correctly.

I have no doubt that what they think they believe is the truth..and their intentions are probably right too...But do you really think the deen is that rigid? that strict?

Ask yourself this...would the deen have spread, if the blessed messenger had gone around beating everyone with a stick? whipping people with belts? etc etc.....

Also answer me this.....When a girl's school is on fire....and when a fire brigade arrive and they are not allowed to go in because they are not Mahrams....is this correct? The girls burn alive. Now what if it was your sister or your mother ( May Allah grant her a long life) who was trapped in that building. What would you do?

My brother/sister, the deen is always evolving with time, which it is why it is timeless. As long as something is not against the fundamentals of the deen it is not a bidah. The wahabi's most favourite word......

Bukhari Volume 2, Book 17, Number 123:
Narrated Anas:

Whenever drought threatened them, 'Umar bin Al-Khattab, used to ask Al-Abbas bin 'Abdul Muttalib to invoke Allah for rain. He used to say, “O Allah! We used to ask our Prophet to invoke You for rain, and You would bless us with rain, and now we ask his uncle to invoke You for rain. O Allah ! Bless us with rain.”(1) And so it would rain.

يَوْمَئِذٍ لَا تَنْفَعُ الشَّفَاعَةُ إِلَّا مَنْ أَذِنَ لَهُ الرَّحْمَٰنُ وَرَضِيَ لَهُ قَوْلًا {109}
[Shakir 20:109] On that day shall no intercession avail except of him whom the Beneficent Allah allows and whose word He is pleased with.

وَلَا يَمْلِكُ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ مِنْ دُونِهِ الشَّفَاعَةَ إِلَّا مَنْ شَهِدَ بِالْحَقِّ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ {86}
[Shakir 43:86] And those whom they call upon besides Him have no authority for intercession, but he who bears witness of the truth and they know (him).

You do know Imam Shaafi did tawassul through the Ahl-al-Bayt, right?

so am guessing your of 'wahabi' beliefs .. and you ve not done research on everytihng else and not read the books, definatly ain followed hadith ..co if the wahabi follo hadith .. then they wud know that the prophet SAW Himself SAW ..tells of ilm e ghaib ..he does listen to his followers ..etc etc ..so plz dunt just go into this .. with blazing guns ..and telling that its a misconsecption .. its not misconception ..its th e''lack of knowledge'' people have about Islam ..which makes em so ..

so i suggest u study Islam by being taught by scolars and NOT the internet ..am sure u ll be alot wiser ..and not so extreme :)

I've had the benefit of sitting with the Ahl-al-Hadith, which is their chosen name for themselves and I respect them. I have many friends from them. I have never ridiculed them and I thought they were the most "Islamic" when I was with them. Later, I found there were a lot of gaps in their way. I also noticed that there was a very interesting process unfolding which involved "hadith hiding" or "hadith dismissing".

When they came across a hadith they did not agree with they would argue that it is weak or even fabricated. When they came across commentaries of say Ibn Kathir regarding tafsir, they would abridge the content where Ibn Kathir (RA) would give a full opinion base of all the scholars where as those would be deleted from their versions. Darussalam are culprits for this.

My major gripe with Ahl-al-Hadith is their intolerance and lack of spirituality. There are so many hadith about, ihsan, dreams, guided awliya but these people are nearly always silent about these stories, almost ashamed of them.

Islam for me is a complete way of life, it cannot be so if we don't let it approach our hearts, minds and souls.

Finally it needs to be known that Muhammad (SAW) was a man, but not like other men.

@ Stonecold : listen brother that why i create this topic with the subject name of misconception of ppl because ppl have so much misconception abt WAhabis or Ahalai hadith.. do you ever heard that in case of emergency a muslim can even eat the meat of pig ???? yea it is truth if you are dying and you have no food to eat and you are that kind of situation that there is no place where you can get food and you have only that mean.... which i mentioned before ( i dont want to take that thing name again ) you can eat it because its emergency you have no other way to get food and give your body strength but it doesn,t mean that you can always eat it or it is halal for us . same like with the Na mahram thing you was talking about... who said if there is fire and girls are burning so fire extinguisher cannot save them just because they are na Mahram there is nothing like that they can save them because there is no other way and its emergency and same thing here it doesnt mean na Mahram can touch girls everytime . My dear emergency is another thing don,t bring emergencies and normal situation together and if someone let their childs die just because of fire extinguisher guys are na Mahram so let me tell you they have lack of knowledge of islam i cant say anything else and if you know some of them teach them and tell them its nothing like that it is better for person die instead of helped by some na Mahram . Yes you are right islam is not extremme and also islam shouldnt change... this is for those who think islam should evolved with the time. because we all know as a muslim it is only our religon which is not changed and shouldnt be changed till the end of the world ( Qayamat ) who ever try to bring change in islam its shirk and Allah will forgave your all sin except the shirk so please to those ppl who think islam should changed with time think before what they are saying you are doing shirk and yes shirk can also forgive but in one condition if the person dont know anything what he is saying but if they know that its shirk and still you are saying this its mean you know its shirk you are doing bigger sin ( Gunnah kabira )

I typed something in and its all gone. Im not sure if I can be bothered to type it all again but i will say one last thing!

The beautiful deen is only beautiful when it is evolving. Evolution DOES not mean change. The deen is not so beautiful when it is presented to you on the end of a stick by a bearded man thinking only he is right and everyone else is wrong.

The deen is flexible and adaptable. This is why people in a jungle in Africa can accept what is presented to them. We cant all be Arabs now can we.............

i write this for those ppls who just have misconception only some misconecption i was trying to clear some doubts of ppl... but you havent any misconception..........

@ stonecold : you still are looking at argue points honeslty you are not clearing yourself what are you trying to say by evolving deen ???...as far as i know evolving means change it. make it new... and yes all i want to say by replying your post at first hand is that being a wahabis doesnt mean you are extemme so you agree with it right ??? i am not here for some kinda fight or argue i want to tell ppl yes there is some misconception in ppls and because of one person you cannot blame all of the other nation that yes if this wahabi is wrong it mean they all are wrong .. they all are extremme or whatever you think about them..

this is the prob just because one person is terroist you all started to say wahabis are terroist because they are so extremme... if because of one person their entire nation you should be called as a criminal..terroist so why dont we call all germans are terroist they have no heart and you know what we should kill all germans because once their leader was the adolf hilter he killed ppl in billions no one call them terroist why because they are chirstan you prefer christan are the better than muslim or what ??? No one call them extemme or terroist but yes you are muslim Allahumdulila and i am also muslim still you are not thinking this part as postive part

Beared man with the stick can lead you well because they have experience of their life time but it doesnt we all should follow every beared man ALlah gave us brain to think..read..write .... And everthing is written in Quran if you think some think is wrong translate it from Quran you know everything is in Quran for muslim use your brain for everything don,t just stick with some negative issues of ppls if some one is wrong it mean he is wrong not everyone in his neighbourhood.
