Wish it was, but that is not true. Actually, it is after 35 to 40 balls, Misbah run rate improves a lot. But he (along with Younis Khan) is tuk tuk king during first 35 to 40 balls he plays. That means, if he gets out early (what he regularly do), than he wasted too many balls.

May be you are right, but I remember a few games where his strike rate was good in beginning then dropped dead, then accelerated towards the end.

Fawad Alam isn’t the saviour many think of him … His technique has flaws and he’ll probably fail similar to Hafeez when the going gets tough especially in bowling friendly conditions

Who doesn’t have “flaw”?

Umar Akmal who according to you is technically most capable delivers an average of 32 in Australia, while Fawad Alam with his flaws delivers 39.

He is not “savior” by any means, but atleast there will be something on the scoreboard for bowlers to defend
