Re: Misbah becomes Pakistan’s most successful Test captain

Congrats and thanks Misbah for uniting a team which was under going his very critical phase. :jhanda:

Re: Misbah becomes Pakistan's most successful Test captain

Now his real test will be in ODI series. A lost in series can bring them to No. 8.

Re: Misbah becomes Pakistan's most successful Test captain

No Doubt Misbah is living/playing legend of Pakistan Cricket, he took captaincy when team was shattered and captains were whether retiring in between the series or been found of spot fixing. No home-ground / crowd advantage and he took on the challenge, defeated India in India, White Washed English Team, Draw series with South Africans and beat them in ODI series in South Africa... remember he never had any Javaid Miandad, Waseem Akram, Sarfaraz Nawaz or Waqar Younis in his team..

Re: Misbah becomes Pakistan’s most successful Test captain

Per uskay pass Afridi hai na. :hehe:

Re: Misbah becomes Pakistan's most successful Test captain

Congratulations. Got a late start to his career. And made the best of it. Especially always having to climb uphill. Always a good Test player.

Re: Misbah becomes Pakistan’s most successful Test captain

That is another hallmark of Misbah, he achieved all this while Afridi is in team…

Re: Misbah becomes Pakistan's most successful Test captain

Is pakistans team any good now ?
who is worth watching fast baller/bawler/bowler ?

Re: Misbah becomes Pakistan's most successful Test captain

Yes.
All of the above.

Re: Misbah becomes Pakistan’s most successful Test captain

Great achievement, agree with above commentators about the conditions in which he took over the reigns of the team, the world looked down upon us… he rebuilt, stayed calm, guided young ones, gelled the team together and today he is a playing-living legend of our cricket :k:

Re: Misbah becomes Pakistan’s most successful Test captain

Wonderful achievement considering that he did it in 4 years without home ground/crowd because no matter how much you think UAE as our home-ground, its not and on top of it sub add ker k we might only have 2.5 batsmen in the team

:jhanda:

Re: Misbah becomes Pakistan's most successful Test captain

thts great, I am sure this will make him more confident.

Re: Misbah becomes Pakistan's most successful Test captain

hahaha haha haha. ...
that's the biggest achievement.

Re: Misbah becomes Pakistan’s most successful Test captain

Actually Miandad is No 2 on the list and not Imran. He has equal wins as Imran but his win/loss ratio is higher. In fact if we rank by win/loss ratio, Miandad is the most successful captain and if we rank by most wins, Misbah is #1](http://www.paklinks.com/gs/usertag.php?do=list&action=hash&hash=1)
