It may appear odd , posting about Miranshah , as these since last Few years Mirashah have become Very Dangereous Place even for its own residents due to Insurgency and War against terror.

But , still i do like to share about Miranshah.

About 4 Hours drive from Peshawar towards South West it comes Banuu, then Miran Shah city is Located.
Miran Shah is Capital City of North Wazirastan one of Seven Federally Administered Trible Area (FATA).

City of Miran Shah if you will see on Google Map or www.Wikimapia.org , is like a vally surrounded by tall Mountains.

The City itself is not that glorious for Buildings etc , but it is a hub for Afgani Fruits that are transported from Afganistan via Trucks, Graps , water melon , pamogrenate , apple etc are among the most well known fruits.

The Plain area of Miranshah is also very cultivable , being irrigated from River Tochi water and Nearly every type of Fruits is produced in the plain areas of Miranshah.

Miran Shah distinction is because of its Hybride area Mountains and Plain area ,the weather remains Normal (Nor Hot not too cool) , in the Mountaneous areas Snow falls in Winter seasons.

The people speaks in Pashto , but their Pashto is a bit difficult to understand as is different from Standard Pashto.

The people of Miran shah are very Hospitable , when you will go to some village , you will not find any Restaurant or Hotel to stay in or eat (Only in Miran Shah City you can find it).

as villages Have Hujras where the people of village sit together for chat chit or gossip , and entertain guests.

Every Hujra has Stuff for Entertaining Guests and Every Member will brink Meal with him if some guest happens to come, they will entertain him , chat chit with him and feed him and arrange for his night.

You will see no women in the city of Miran Shah , or else where shoping , outing or hanging out some where.

Only in case of for Hospital or going to their relatives they can go out , but they go in a viel (NIQAB).

In Mian shah , there is College for Girls , schools nearly in each village but trend of Female Education is unfortunately very little.

Trible person will keep Gun( klushankauf) with him as fashon or may be because of Protection , Miran shah comes in FATA ( No Courts or Police , FCR (Frontier Crimes Regulations) applies)

For people who come to Miranshah from outside are not recommended to come by their own risk but instead they have to come on some Trible Reference.

For high Profile People like Political leaders they have to take Political Agent permision.

Miran shah Have so many interesting Aspects wana know ?

oh wow! this sounds very interesting. especially the whole have to come to Miran Shah on teh trible reference bit.

If some one comes without any Trible Reference or No Tribe Person is accompaning him/her , he/she may be Kidnapped as Mostly happens in Miran shah or wazirastan.

Also one should be mindfull for His/Her Dress that should be Shalwar Qames , No Other Dress is liked or seen with Good sight .

I have never been to that place. But she has told us a lot of stories about it.

She is from Dawar tribe.

Stories of her childhood. Like there were a lot of hindus there long back. And she tell us how they would tease the hindu kids by touching them. Coz every time they would touch any hindu, he would go and do Ashnaan (take bath), since they would call muslims achoot... lol

Hey engrshami, i have heard that waziri women dont do shutlecok burka in their villages, is it true?
i have observed it in khattak villages, so want confirmation frm u in case of waziristan.

waziristanis marry outside less but they have confidence on marwats and do marry with them.

Ya , You are right Wazir and and some Dawar tribes as well are not using Viel or say Burqa in their villages, but those are some Particular places or say conventional.
Like

If in Wazir Tribes women will go to Hills/Mountains etc for to take Cattles with them or bring gross , wood from hills they will not Use Niqab , but since it is understood by all villagers so the other gender(men) do not go to those places and are stongly prohabited.

In Dawar Tribes if Women chances to bring Gross or go to Fields then men do not go to those fields.
Villagers you know mostly know each others and Aware of each others that is why they respect their values.
But this thing(going of women to fields) is fading up in Dawar Tribes day by day.

hmmmmmmmm...... If if combine below written Marwati's Hint , then i can say that you are relative to one of my Friend who was with me in karachi ????????????????

Ya , same type of Stories i have heard from my father of his childhood time.
He was telling that Hindus were shopkeepers in the bazar of our village and they were placing their shoping stuff outside for better view.
My Father was telling that me and My other friend were steeling things and run from these shopkeepers and when he was following one of us then the other one was able to grab more things from them.

^ LOL dont think so I am relative to your friend. My father is an Engr too and we were in Karachi once long back, when I was say two yrs old, just for vacation. After that he worked in Hyderabad for a year or less. Thats it. We have never been to karachi after that :)
