I have used it for bites, burns, cuts and minor skin irritations. I also use it on extreme dry skin like heels and elbows. Its a must-have for me in my home. Although instead of aloe vera I use aloe ferox which is grown in South Africa and no pesticides are used and does not need filtering so most of the natural ingredients are preserved.
Bitter aloe ferox is excellent for severe skin/scalp problems as well as helps with detox and arthritis.

Emu oil and Rose Hip oil are just as wonderful. :)

Afsoon i used to use emu oil, its a very good moisturizer but these days im using primrose and rosehip oils and they are working wonders.

ive been putting aloe on my face for a couple weeks now and all it does iis make it glow for a couple hours and then ..it kinda fades away
I bought an aloevera leaf the other day and have used its gel a few times on my face and neck but it didn't make me a fan of it. It's kind of sticky and doesn't moisturize much. Do you need to mix its gel with something confused?

Adrasteia, how and how often you are supposed to use these? Do you just dab it on? Can you use it on combination skin without having the fear of getting breakouts?

I’ve used aloe vera in cream form when I went to India. I forget the brand but it was to die for. Lightweight and made my skin so soft. My dad, yes my dad, swears by it, and that man at 71, hardly has any wrinkles on his face. I need that cream from him. Of course he also consumes 10 servings of fruits and vegetables every day and walks 3-4 miles

My dad and my hubby have also had pure aloe vera juice, quarter cup every morning, first thing. It controls acid reflux and other digestion issues. A bangladeshi friend of mine has had it for years and swears by it for prevent stomach disorders and good skin.

shay, not the capsule, its a moisturizer with both rosehip and primrose oil in it.
Smells funky 
wishkamar, the oil?? I dont dab it i massage it into my skin twice a day like a moisturizer.
I have combo skin and mine didnt break out at all
