Balochs have never fought for Islam. Even today all the Baloch nationalist/separatists/heroes are leftists, secular Marxists. Balochs proudly claim that they are secular.

Balochs and Brahuis of Kalat state , annually paid tribute to our durrani empire and provided us baloch troops who fought and died for the cause of Pashtuns i.e expansion and secuity of Durrani empire. Thats why i love baluchs, they have served us well in the past.

People in this region never had any idea of Historiography, there were always folk stories and Ballads which were interpreted as history :)

or the history that was forcibly written by historians appointed by conquerors.

Under the circumstances, folklore and ballads got more reliability, as they come from masses who suffered.

Nope. You simply have to cross check various sources from various sides. And atleast you can get basic facts accurate like time and place of event. Both Pashtuns and balochs, unfortunately , have not recorded their own history. So Balochs are "inventing" as not much is written about them. While plenty of stuff is written about pashtuns, but by foriegners or enemies who are biased and from their perspective.

Its not an easy task and require a consistent approach for decades. This can't be applied in societies like Pakistan, where we are taught biased version of history in schools, colleges, etc, where all heroes are so fragile that just thinking about different and logical aspect of the incident may earn you title of 'blasphemous'.
