Re: Minorities are killed en-masse in Pakistan too [split: Why Muslim women were.. ]
I was not trying to make any novel point. All i said was after partition, few hindus were left in pakistan- and its silly to claim that Pakistan is kind to its religious minorities- coz there are very few of them.
Not really few. There is still a sizable number in pockets where they might form 30-40% of the population in one place. The same dynamic exists with the roles reversed as India in some places.

And look at Hindu population in Bangladesh. you don't see any abrupt drop in 1951 census, or even 1981- there is a steady decline. Obviously, they are either being forced to convert due to extreme social pressure or being forced out.

Im sorry it is not obvious to me. In todays age a news like that is not suppressed, please find a reference indicating mass conversions. at any rate there is no evidence for any violent means being used at a large scale, isolated incidents aside.
It is your bias that says they convert due to extreme social pressure, another could argue with just as much basis as you that they converted because they found the one true faith.
There were in fact many temples destroyed in Pakistan too.... Why didn't Hindus in Pakistan cause major riots over all the destruction?
You tell us. Whats your explanation for it?
