You do not try to be smart! Check the facts! Its a baseless allegations - the camps were far away from MQM controlled areas - they could not do this.
How MQM control those areas? does they have their own law and order system?

After 2005 earthquake in Kashmir, many people came to Islamabad and tried to get into some empty flats there. Immediately there was a harsh response for them from the owners of those flats. Then there was no ethnic row was seen by anyone there.
But if things go this way in Karachi, everyone will jump in and accuse Karachi people of being biased. What a double standard.
Rickshaws in Lahore and Rawalpindi will always be with silencers. But when the city Govt tired to curb noisy rickshaws in Karachi back in 1997, all pukhtoons rickshaw drivers blocked I I Chundrigur Road blaming the then local authority running people of being anti pukhtoon! What a double standard here.
No one will object if owners of flats expel squatters. But there will be objection if a party is trying to limit movement of people into the city bcoz they do not speak a particular language.

Its a pity that Karachi has become a city like Baghdad where people have areas, Kati pahari key aik taraf muhajir, dosri taraf pathan. Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for pathans, civil for Muhajirs.

That does not prove that MQM was not involved in firing on flood camps. In fact, MQM was so much afraid of influx of these flood affected ppl that it demanded for registration of those IDPs belonging to the same province.

If TTP can be banned and bashed for having armed wings, for bomb blasts and terror activities, then why MQM and armed wings of ANP and PPP are not banned???

Its the first time in history that Sindhi nationalists are praising army and ISI. They have always accused Urdu speaking people to be agent of Punjab.
But now things have changed. Pakistanies were never so united.

KARACHI: The President of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA), Asma Jehangir, said Tuesday that different political, religious and banned outfits were involved in extortion in the city, Geo News reported.
Speaking outside the Supreme Court Karachi Registry, Jehangir said intelligence agencies have the list of criminals and their addresses.
Earlier, during proceedings of the Karachi violence suo moto case, Asma Jehangir said that Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) introduced extortion in Karachi. She added that this party has a huge terrorist network which has been creating havoc for the last ten years, but no action was taken against them.
Further, she said that the MQM would be the initiator and other parties would follow suit. The SCBA President said the court would have to assess its jurisdiction otherwise in the future people might say that the Supreme Court should also have proceedings in Waziristan. To this Chief Justice, Iftikhar Muhammed Chaudhry replied that if she gave support than the court would also go to Waziristan.
Asma Jehangir was also critical of PEMRA, stating that it would only act against misreporting on the government, MQM and army.
