Minimalism

my mother hates that I dont dress up. It is not that I am a mai or not concerned about looking my best all the time, it’s more a case of understated is the only kind of statement that I feel is worth making. I am confident enough in my err goods, to know that gaudy packaging detracts from the real show.

but her friends will not get off my case.

How do introduce them to the world of Chic?

Re: Minimalism

That how I m too, my mother always yells about my outfits , k kia masiuon jaisa hulya hai kahin se salon wali nahi lagti magar ,main kheti thats how I m ,I cant change myself for others.Main jis outfit main comfortable feel karti hoon meri mama us ko dislike karti hain and vice versa.

Just accessorize u're outfits.. minimalistic is u're fashion statement...for Aunty's one can never have enuff bangles, rings and make-up on!

Re: Minimalism

My mum is exactly the same. When we go to weddings she expects me to wear gold and lots of it...and then to top it off she says to her friends i told her to wear all her gold, look at all these girls etc etc etc.

i like what i wear, and agree with gaudy packages bit. But the funny thing is my mum dresses exactly the same..she has fantastic taste always looks good without looking gaudy... wierd
