Can some one recommend me a good MiniDV camcorder(under $300).Like canon ZR-850 , Sony DCR-HC38 which one is better any personal experience with two or some other brand.I need it for some one (beginner) so just a camcorder that can record good quality video in day light and also in low light situation with good optical zoom.

I have read excellent reviews for Panasonic PV-GS320. It’s a little bit more than what you want to spend ($378.99 on Amazon), but an excellent choice :k:
