bout cooking.. recently we were in a gathering where most of the kids were living alone.. especially guys due to studies… kher.. the topic soon turned to cooking.. like what do u eat? food from the cafe.. eating out all the time.. cookin at home??? by the end of the discussion it was decided that most of the guys were cooking by themselves whilst the girls were so completely lost (cookin-wise) even though they were living at home with their families…
so.. what is this new “trend” ?.. it was quite surprising to see so many guys know all their masalas and herbs whilst the girls insisted they didnt have the time with studies and all so their mom’s did the cooking.. and how they wouldnt know their red chili powder from paprika .. they were quite proud of this fact too 
just found it interesting 
maybe living alone the guys havta be responsible whilst girls living with families can be lazy and leave such things to the mothers…

Mosy of the guys live with friends cook food better than girls, when my brother came in canada he didn't know about any thing in masala and how to cook but after one year when he came back to Pakistan at that time I was in Pakistan too ........... he told us that now he is an expert and said "ab mujhay bhi khana banana aa gaya hai aur main bohat acha khana banata hoon". Then to proof himself he cooked Qorma and really it was tasty.
He also told us his mistakes like one day he cooks lettuce instead of cabbage, his friends told him very nice dish ... yummy ..... he was happy ....... but after few days when he went for grocery with his friend and in vegetable section he told his friend pick up one cabbage, his friend told him this is not cabbage this is lettce, he said O.K, the he realize what he cooked last week.

When guys go out to college they end up cooking for themselves, even if they haven't fried an egg in their lifetime. But girls tend not to with excuses like studies & time, even if they have done some cooking at home. Hummm .. can we conclude that guys can manage time better or would this explain girls doing better grade wise? :D
In all honesty, I believe girls get the idea that because they are studying like guys are, they should be pampered the same way.
