mineral makeup shades

I occasionaly wear mineral make up, as I love the light feel it has on your skin as opposed to liquid foundations. Trouble is, I havent found the perfect shade yet - they’re either too light which make me look ashy or too dark.

I’ve got a goldeny complexion with yellow undertones, can anyone with similar complexion/colouring recomnd shades for mineral foundations??

I’ve sampled Jane Iredale in riviera which is okay, and their caramel which was too dark.

Also tried lilly lolo in butterskotch and warm honey but both were too light and gave me an “ashy” complexion. Have also tried a couple of cheaper brands but the shades were really limited, so no luck there…

So am on the hunt to find the perfect shade…any recomendations greatly appreciated.

Re: mineral makeup shades

Try laura mercier 's mineral powder in tender rose.
I would never go a shade darker in foundation!

Too light is bad too.

Re: mineral makeup shades

Revlon has a new range of mineral foundation, as does Max Factor, Loreal.

Any proper department store would be able to show you the one that suits u the most as u need to try it on yourself. if u dont get the right shade of foundation, all u pics will look grey, so be careful when buying the right shade

hey sumayya..
try youngblood mineral powder:
Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics

Have a look at the color “toffee/Warm beige”, that suits mostly asian skin colour.. .

Re: mineral makeup shades

I use bare minerals, golden beige and "light"... mineral makeup doesnt come in so many shades b/c it's supposed to adapt to your natural skin color while clearing up any redness/discoloration. Or so i've heard :S

Re: mineral makeup shades

i like maybelline mineral makeup altho their powder runs dark, so i'm medium in the liquid form but light in the powder..........which i guess is not helpful.

Re: mineral makeup shades

i use bare minerals too, try it out, it has an illuminator in it which gives a lovely glow.
