first of all…i dont know much about makeup n stuff so really need your help…I am planning to buy mineral makeup because my skin is too oily to tolerate any creamy foundation…do you think it’s a right decision?
secondly, i am in pakistan so dont have many options available and even if its available then the problem of genuineness of product keeps me confused that whether i should buy it or not…
we have limited options available…the body shop, maybelline and may be loreal too are one of the products that i have seen in the store…rest i dont know about…so please help me buy makeup?
Try The Body Shop's Mineral Loose Powder Foundation !! i just checked the ingredients and it doesn't contain any oils or talc so it won't clog your pores (also if you have oily skin and your make up doesn't last, don't sweep your brush when you apply your powder, pat and roll the brush back and forth on the skin, looks more natural and lasts longer!)

I have oily skin and i use Maybelline Pure mineral Foundation and it doesnot give me break out ..
Cinnamon Thanks for your tips ....i also want to try body shop's mineral foundation...but i have heard ....it doesnt give enough coverage...moreover it ends up making your face more oily specially if its already oily.....how true is that?
Shanum, The body shop is available in islamabad so i think i'll have to choose between maybelline n the body shop ......do you think maybelline mineral foundation is as good as the other creamy foundation and what do you say about the myths that i have heard about mineral foundations?
oh right so if you need a lot of coverage maybe it won't work so well, i don't know about the maybelline, but i've read it provides decent coverage and has a matte finish so it's prolly better. use a sponge and blend well instead of a brush for more coverage.
oh i forgot to say this, but if your skin is really oily and you're having a hard time making your foundation last, invest in a mattifying primer maybe ?
no no cinannamon...i want to use it on daily basis ...natural look is definitely preferable...? n i dont think i will be able to pull heavy coverage off as i am not good at makeup n stuff...actually my skin is acne prone so i was just thinking may be it would not even cover my light spots..? but i think i should go with your suggestion...thanks for being helpful:)
hmm in that case, if you need to cover only certain areas or spots, then use a concealer that gives good coverage but easy to use, like Mac studio finish concealer, and then use your mineral powder
i've also heard maybelline's 24 hour lasting concealer is good but you gotta check the shades
