Mind control experiments

I recently read about the history of Lysergic Acid Diethylamide aka LSD and thought it would be interesting to share here. In the 1950’s, CIA thought LSD could be used as chemical warfare to mind control which gave rise to their MKULTRA research programme. They administered the drug to voluntary people (without revealing any information about the drug to them) as well as involuntary people (mainly mentally ill patients and prostitutes who couldn’t fight back against the agency) and conducted mind control experiments. Many “subjects” even died as a result of LSD overdose, however it wasn’t until 1975 that this project was revealed by a congressional report.

LSD was made popular through this supposedly confidential research programme and resulted in the counterculture of the 1960’s leading to a political firestorm which led to the prohibition of LSD and it is no longer an approved drug for psychiatric treatment.

Some psychological effects may include an experience of radiant colors, objects and surfaces appearing to ripple or “breathe,” colored patterns behind the closed eyelids, an altered sense of time (time seems to be stretching, repeating itself, changing speed or stopping), crawling geometric patterns overlaying walls and other objects, morphing objects, a sense that one’s thoughts are spiraling into themselves, loss of a sense of identity or the ego, and other powerful psycho-physical reactions.

There’s a good documentary on youtube about CIA’s mind control experiments using LSD but this video is funnier :hehe:

Re: Mind control experiments

Reminds me of the case of the Men who stare at goats. That was a true event too!

Pagal de Puttar. :smilestar:

Re: Mind control experiments

What event was that?

Re: Mind control experiments

Aaah back in the day the US millitary and some of the most senior Politicians allowed some truly hair brained experimants to take place from Fort Brag in North Carolina to the Afghan mountains.

Everything from LSD, Heroin, Majic Mushrooms… new age Paranormal ideals… you would never believe the crazy things that went on from Pentagon leaks to DARPA experiments with Animals… there is just a plethora of activity.

In three decades the US Millitary and CIA conducted secret operations that would boggle the minds of even the most imaginative conspiracy theorist… I cant even begin to dig out the stuff from Colby in Nam to Sergeant in Afghanistan there have been dozens of leaks and each was more shocking than the last… Hollywood even got on the act. :rotfl:

Re: Mind control experiments

Intelligence agencies all over the world are cunning to an extent. An average person cannot even begin to imagine some of the stuff that goes on behind the scenes. I wonder if we should be supporting these activities or not since they're all carried out in the name of protecting national security.

Anyway, coming back to LSD, I don't understand how drugs can be used to control your mind since we're not really capable of following orders when we're under the influence of these substances. Doesn't make sense.

Re: Mind control experiments

Yeah your right it’s hard to control spaced out people… but maybe getting them spaced out in the first place is part of a control process. :konfused:

I think the DARPA agency in America gave soldiers LSD to make them feel more or less invincible and so it would be easy to send them into a battle against seemingly impossible odds. Offcourse it goes without saying that the idea backfired several times… in one case a soldier went berserk and shot his own mates.

Re: Mind control experiments

Lol exactly, how can you trust someone who's stoned? :D... and you'd have to be stoned yourself to hand out weapons to someone who's on LSD!

The most it can do for them is that the subjects don't feel fear, pain, love etc. so their moral values are also washed away.

Re: Mind control experiments

In France some how LSD in a millitary instalation got leaked into civilian rations supplies and the result was a total disaster... I think hullucinogenics should be banned... period.

Re: Mind control experiments

I’d like to try one though :mudhosh:

Re: Mind control experiments

Thoubah the one drug I have for everything is Quwwali Music and the desire to do battle… and resist all evil. :faris:

Re: Mind control experiments

Getting stoned is not the same as being on LSD

There’s a big difference :chai:

Re: Mind control experiments

Okay Sorry my friend I have no real experience with these matters. I use the term spaced out for anyone who is under the influence of drugs... in fact its the standard vocab in my line of work... regardless of the type of Drug from Solvents to Heroin.

Re: Mind control experiments

Spaced out, sure. I differentiate between stoned and spaced out though.

Eitherway I saw that footage a while ago and it was really weird/funny :hehe:

Re: Mind control experiments

A bit tragic too... :(

Many people in these experiments later die or are severley damaged... either mentally or physically.

Re: Mind control experiments

I think ‘truth serum’ was derived from LSD so I suppose those freaky experiments did work to some extent.
What about those crazy ‘astral projection’ experiments, people leaving their bodies and spying on the enemy:khums:

Re: Mind control experiments

I didn’t know there was a difference :konfused: Well either way the subjects “lose it” so they’re not trustworthy! :stuck_out_tongue:

Truth serum is illegal, unethical and a form or torture according to the international law :nono:

As for astral projections, LOL crazies!
