I think this is clint 2nd movie as a director and he has done his job superbly.
Watched it yesterday and its :k: movie :k: . Another movie with a sad ending.
will giv 7 out of 10.

Clint has directed a total of 19 movies and in several he starred as well. Some of the ones he directed that I liked included Mystic River, Blood Work and Unforgiven.

A Million Dollar Classic Knock-out!
You will laugh, cringe, feel, and cry - one thing i will recommend though, when you go to see it. Make sure to get all your snacks - make a rest room stop - or anything else you need to do before the movie. You won't want to leave your seat for a second once it has begun.
If you have no soul what-so-ever - i believe you will still cry when you see this movie. I'm not exaggerating - i have never in my life felt this much emotion for characters in any story - in the same movie you will be captivated by the story, be drawn to the edge of your seat, you will wince in pain - and then cry your heart out. The camera angles are so perfect - the directing is flawless - the acting is remarkable - Hilary Swank, Clint Eastwood, Morgan Freeman and the supporting cast were outstanding - The film's quietly devastating conclusion reverberates so deeply because the integrity of the characters remains uncompromised - and there are no simplistic resolutions, only ambiguous question that are left unanswered - ultimately, Eastwood is able to locate grandeur in the ostensibly mundane, but his real genius is in knowing how to present it truthfully and without pretention.

Good movie! Oscar worthy - I am not sure. Hillary Swank and Clint Eastwood for best actor/actress in the running - for sure. I found Mystic River to be a better movie.
