So the old motherly saying is “Main tumhain apna dhoodh nahi bahkshoun ghi”?
Does that even have any relgious importance?

Re: Milk!!!
technically, yes.
Islam gives Parents (esp. Mother) the highest degree, After Allah [swt].
Refer to this for Parents Rights:
http://www.allaahuakbar.net/ahaadeeth/bukhari/regarding_good_conduct_towards_ones_parent.htm
However,
you must not agree/commit anything unIslamic if your parents ask you to do so.
Re: Milk!!!
ohhhh yeah ohh yeah… believe me it is gunnah even to say ufff infront of ur mother.. Allah meeya pata nahi wat will happen to me.. i argue with my mom at least once a day ![]()
Re: Milk!!!!!
Although it is a filmy dialouge but if any mother says this real life then the child should have no doubt that he/she is on-board a flight straight to hell.
Islamically, disobedience of mother is haraam (except in case of something unislamic)
Re: Milk!!!!!
what's bhakshaun mean?
Re: Milk!!!!!
Bakhshna ---> to forgive , to grant something without any desire of return / compensation
Re: Milk!!!!!
I recommend you all to see the Indian movie "Doodh ka karz" and then come back to this thread again. You'd better be able to answer this question.
No joke here.
This is a serious comment.
Re: Milk!!!!!
Nah forget the commercialised film dude...its prob gona be about some guy who takes revenge on someone for something...!!!the name says it all!
Re: Milk!!!!!
^ Yeah and what I mean to say is that this comment (In the topic post #1) is just a filmi doalogue. Nothing more than this.
Otherwise, a mother does not feed her child to use it as a token for something else. Mothers contribution is "selfless" and she does it because nature has made it that way. No mother can really mean it in this manner.
Just a film dialogue with lots of illetrate mentality hidden behind.
Re: Milk!!!!!
No joke but this must be changed now to
Main tumhain Dabbay ka dhoodh nahee bakh-shoon gi.
