Milk Shakes
Strawberry and banana shake
Ingredients
2 bananas, peeled and sliced
12 strawberries, sliced
½ tsp. vanilla essence
3 cups milk, chilled
3-1\2 cups vanilla ice cream
Method
Place bananas, strawberries and one cup milk into a blender and blend until smooth. Add vanilla ice cream and vanilla essence; add remaining milk and blend, till it is thoroughly mixed. Pour the shake into the glasses and serve immediately.
Chocolate milk shake
Ingredients
1-1/2 cups sugar
1 cup water
½ cup cocoa powder
1 tsp. vanilla essence
8 tbsp. milk
6 cups vanilla ice cream
Method
Cook sugar and water in a pan over low heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Increase heat to high and bring to boil. Place cocoa powder and vanilla essence in a small bowl. Gradually whisk in sugar syrup. Return mixture to the same pan. Bring to boil, whisking constantly, simmer for one minute. Pour into a bowl, cover and keep aside to cool completely. Chill at least one hour, until cold.
Place six tablespoons chocolate syrup, four tablespoon milk and three cups ice cream into blender and blend until smooth. Pour into two glasses. Repeat with the remaining syrup, milk and ice cream.
Banana milk shake
Ingredients
2 bananas peel and sliced
½ tsp. vanilla essence
2 cups milk, chilled
3 cups vanilla ice cream
Method
Put bananas, vanilla essence and one cup milk into a blender and blend until smooth. Add vanilla ice cream to the banana milk. Add remaining milk and blend, until it is thoroughly mixed. Pour the shake into the glasses and serve immediately.
Mango milk shake
Ingredients
1 cup mango pulp, chilled
½ tsp. vanilla essence
2 cups milk, chilled
3 cups vanilla ice cream
Method
Place mango pulp, vanilla essence and one cup milk into a blender and blend until smooth. Add vanilla ice cream, remaining milk and blend, until it is thoroughly mixed. Pour the shake into the glasses with a straw. Serve immediately.
