Military Strategy Against the US

Since this war has turned into a guerilla conflict, there maybe a lot of combatants from the neighboring Arab countries coming to Iraq to fight against the US. Who are the possible arms suppliers in your opinion; and what kinds of weapons are needed to launch counter offensive against the US? I think the weapons needed urgently for any kind of anti US campaign to succeed are anti-tank guided missiles and shoulder launched anti-aircraft missiles to bring down low flying aircrafts and attack helicopters such as the Apaches. Do you people think countries like Ukraine, China, Russia, will be willing to sell these weapons to the Iraqi forces and other mujahideens.

The Russians have supplied Iraqis with Kornet Anti Tank Guided Missiles with wich Iraqis detroyed several tanks and other APC etc… they also supplied GPS jammers and night vision googles. The monkey in the white house got the news of the destruction wet his pants and called Putin and had a heated and begging debate. Putin said ya ya I will see what I can do.

Reports are several 1000 Hizbullah and Hamas fighters have crossed over from Syria this time Rummy wet his pants and warned begged Syrians… There are reports of Shi’ite figters also crossing over from Iran..

Oh well there goes the plan of hiding behind popular uprising down the drain. WOW!! What 1000 John Rambos achieved in Afghanistan 200,000 couldn’t do in Iraq :rotfl:

I know that the Iraqis would be aware of it, but they should make sure that the supply line should remain vulnerable...so that the much needed food and fuel supplies couldnt reach the coalition troops on the front lines...

100000 more troops are on their way.. the supply lines will be more secure...

The worst thing that could happen is if the Burglar brigade lay seige to the cities. You guys are right, the supply lines should remain targets of guerilla attacks so the Americans do not feel that they have gained the upper hand, at least in the coming crucial weeks, when the counter US measures start to establish as well in Iraq. I have no doubt that there will be people coming to fight from the neighboring countries such as Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Egypt, Iran, Lebanon, Jordan and Syria, with the full clandestine support of clerics, government officials, since the stakes are much higher at this time around. There is also plenty of money in the Arab world to finance such a guerilla war as we saw in Afghanistan during the Russian invasion. But, it has to be an organized campaign and not something where people rush in due to their raw emotions. I think if the price is right, countries like Russia, China, and some Eastern Europeon will sell arms, since a lot of these countries would also like to see the myth of US' superpower smashed. Too bad the US has very little genuine support and has made more enemies than friends around the globe.
