Military should distance itself from politics: Fazl

He is super Maulana, there is no doubt about it. Perhaps he is the only politician among PPP or PML(N) who can address to public in Kalat. I agree what he is saying about military.

KALAT: Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman said on Sunday that their party will not allow Pakistan’s slavery to the United States. Kashmir and Afghanistan issues are denting the country, DawnNews reported.

The JUI-F chief said that Pakistan’s military will have to distance itself from politics and governance of the country.

Addressing a public meeting in Kalat, Fazl said that Pakistan will have to cut down its defence budget.

He said ‘In the illusion of a free society, our youth is being led towards moral degradation. But we will not allow Pakistan’s submission towards the west, he added.

Reiterating the JUI-F’s stance, he said “those in government will have to make sure that Sharia laws are followed in the country.”

Re: Military should distance itself from politics: Fazl

Who are they? If you are referring to Zardari and Gilani, they are elected by people of Pakistan. If people made right or wrong decision, it is again people of Pakistan will decide in next elections.

Re: Military should distance itself from politics: Fazl

Agreed, when cornered by anchors, other politicians should also start references with Annbia (prophets) and then it will take a really brave anchor or even anyone watching who would ever dare to continue on asking tough questions.

Re: Military should distance itself from politics: Fazl

no, the answer was for general mentality, but your direction is good too.... he said 'chheen lenay wala mangnay walay se achha hay', it just reflects overall PPP mentality, focus on 'chheenna' instead of what is right and what is wrong.
