KOLKATA, Nov 14: An Indian Mig-21 jet crashed in West Bengal on Thursday, killing the two pilots who were on board, a senior police official said.
The official said the Russian-made Mig-21 crashed while on a “routine training mission” in Phasidoa, about 600 kilometres north of Kolkata.
In New Delhi, an Indian air force spokesman confirmed said “the aircraft was a trainer version of the Mig-21. We lost two pilots in the crash.”
The Indian air force has been plagued by crashes in the recent past.
Last week a Jaguar fighter jet crashed into a residential area of the northern town of Ambala, killing about 12 people.
**According to official figures, at least 221 Mig-21s, worth tens of millions of dollars, were lost in crashes between 1991 and 2000, killing around 100 pilots.

F-16s are now bein updated to the newer version.... looks like u r nt following news r u? As for tanks pak army was handed with al-khalid tanks few years ago and we are in progress of making more.... As u have mentioned we do have thse old tanks and jets but at least they work and reach their targets....
Their economy is in very much good shape, they have close to 100+ billion $ in reserves. The end point is Pakistan will definitely lose the conventional war.

Let me tell you, set aside atomic & so-called Muslim pride Pakistan will be totally wipped out from the face of earth but Indian might still existed in someway. Look at the map of south asia.
It will probably take 2-5 minutes for a missile to reach another country.... answer to ur question yes pak will be left to respond... Coz one missile wont finish off whole pak will it? Plus pakistan have missiles in different parts of the country so if the indian missile strike islamabad than we can also gift india 2-3 missile either from sindh or somewhere else.....
