I still don’t understand why the Army is not used instead of the FC.

The Frontier Corps are not part of the Army; as Interior ministry forces they lack the same training and resources as regular army have. (The FC consists of loyalist tribals led by officers on secondment from the army)

The Frontier Corps has repeatedly shown that it is not up to the task of fighting the Taliban. They should be withdrawn back to barracks, and real soldiers from the Army should instead stop sitting on their back sides and flood the FATA.

I can understand the risk of Frontier Force and Baluch Regiments soldiers perhaps not being willing to put 100% into fighting the tribals. But I see no reason why the battalions from the Sindh Regiment and Punjab Regiment are not sent forth to relieve the FC of duty.

Ghq is not deploying regular army men coz of high altitude warfare issues. Our Punjab/Sindh regiments are not well trained for fight in a area of 10-20 k height.

Best solution is to use intelligence and kill master minds in covert operations, use SSg or ssw. I will sugest to use b & c weapons, but sorry to say most will not agree.

P.s. Fc are going through training and moderenalization program, let’s hope for the best.
