Well My frnd if Prophet s.a.w have stated in his last sermon that “the audience be witness that he had fulfilled his obligation and passed on the deen to ummat in it’s entirety and that he had completed his mission. anything added to the deen after that is considered bid’a” Then y do we even need to look at sahaba’s era. Anything added after that point is biddah.

The definition of Bidda is pretty simple.

If there were means and need available, in the times of Prophet and later in the time of Sahaba, for an act to be performed - and prophet and sahaba never performed that act - then performance of that act now would be a biddat.

Milad fits that definition of biddat

Again y not only times of Prophet s.a.w ? why later in time of Sahaba, wasnt islam complete at times of Prophet s.a.w ? … the means were available, there was a need of a leader after Prophet s.a.w as Prophet s.a.w knew he wasnt gona stay in this world for long, but if Prophet didnt appoint one, then for rest Appointing a caliph wud be bidah !
