^ actually i agree with Cashmere, this thread is pretty sad. Why doesn’t OP considered things from her MIL’s stand point. My mother did and still does the same thing when i have my hair down…makes me tie them up …and i don’t even have the shedding issue. MIL is not trying to control you, just doesn’t want your hair all over the place.

It is sad but writing ‘PATHETIC’ is a bit much imo..

I do think the OP is in the wrong here.. I’m with the mil on this one..
