My cousin is staying over and she leaves hair eveywhere. Hubby is ocd and I hate hair too. After work he basically observes hair that are on floor and asks me to tell her to keep her hair in a bun.

I keep my in a bun and hav3 curly hair where as she has straight hair.

Finding hair everywhere is extremely annoying. I shed a lot after having my kids, something to do with nutrients. But my pillow used to covered in the mornings, the shower used to get clogged up, you could see it all over on the wooden floor n bathroom tile floor and the biggest problem was getting it out of the carpet, n it looked so bad in our cream lounge carpet. So I can see why she is getting annoyed.

I would jut tie it up. Especially in the kitchen n other shared areas. Do as u please in your own room n when u go out. Anyway I find it quite annoying having my on hair down, as I find it gets in my face.

^ actually i agree with Cashmere, this thread is pretty sad. Why doesn't OP considered things from her MIL's stand point. My mother did and still does the same thing when i have my hair down...makes me tie them up ...and i don't even have the shedding issue. MIL is not trying to control you, just doesn't want your hair all over the place.

here is the middle ground. Start tying your hair but at the same time, get hair off brush and keep dropping them around the house. Wish granted for both.

PS: I also have a problem. My MIL tells me to brush my teeth every morning. How dare she? khushboo or budboo, its my life :snooty:

It is sad but writing 'PATHETIC' is a bit much imo..

I do think the OP is in the wrong here.. I'm with the mil on this one..
