For your information this drama is not about Mirpuri people and was shot mainly in the Potowar region of Punjab.

Potowari and Mirpuri are not the same people. People assume that since they speak similar / same language that they are the same.

Do some research on different dialects of Punjabi and different regions of Punjab and their culture…….

Kazi, that wasn’t a very nice comment, but its reflective of ur knowledge, lahore alone doesn’t consist of the five rivers its the whole of Punjab and Pujab has many different dialects so learn to appreciate and understand what you are saying zindabad for!!!

I am not a Mirpuri but speak Mirpuri and Potwari and am proud to speak it, it is a truly Pakistani language. Where does Lahori Punjabi come from? the Sikhs… nothing to be too proud of there!!!

dude why u gettin so hung up 4? i kno tht the punjabi “mansooba”, covers a vast area-i know tht it isnt just about lahore…Lahori punjabi comes from lahore…not the sikhs- theres abig big difference in the punjabi we speak! ur argument is ridiculous…where does the lineage of pakistani muslims come from?>the indian hindus/buddhists…so using ur logic…nothing 2 be proud of there…

like i sed b4-its the langauge tht gets at me…not the ppl…SO SUE ME!

Dude, I’m getting hung up because ur sayin its not the people its the language, but its the people that make the language! I’m tired of Urdu/ Punjabi people reffering to Mirpuri/ Potwari language as if its a 2nd class language its not!

i got da DVD of that ^^ its a funny feeling listening to our home language - spoken back on tv.
