He is a cross between Michael Bevan and Adam Gilchrist. Solid in defence, loves to stay on the pitch and play long innings but when the going gets tough, he can clubber any bowler around and in the V. A solid number 6 for both ODI and Tests.
Michael Clarke was a flash in the pan, this guy is what we Pakistanis call, KhuRRchan...sticks to the pan and tastes yummy too.

He is a fantastic player and has fitted in australian team like a glove. Unlike Mike Bevan, he doesnt have weakness against short pitch stuff and can bat at any position. Awesome!

Average of 100+ after 28 ODIs with strike rate close to 100........ WOW
Average of 80+ in tests with 3 hundreds in 6 tests.................This is awesome start..
Though its tough to see that he is already 30yrs+, and first class average is respectable 53+.... There could be some weakness which international teams haven't figured out yet....... If not...than Australia has increased gap again..

where have they been hiding him? he is an attacking player, and like some1 said here doesnt really have a big weakness! that sweep/pull on 1 knee over mid-wicket-long in is a beauty! he is a finisher, something i belive afridi lacks, in odis!
